Myrtle Beach

Our time at Myrtle Beach was spent doing a whole lot of nothing. We relaxed at the campsite, hung out at the beach and took lots of walks.

The second morning we got up and watched the sun come up. The sun is rising about 7:25am.

About a mile or so down the beach from the campground is the east coasts longest pier. We walked down there the first day only to find out there was a fee to go walk the pier. We had no money. So - we returned the next day with our admission money and took the long walk.

You can see in this picture that there are many people fishing. The place was loaded with hopeful fishermen and fisherwomen passing the day hoping for their big catch. We didn't see 1 fish caught the entire time we were on the pier.

There was a couple getting married the first day we walked to the pier. Sorry no pics of that....

This is the view from the pier, looking back down the beach. I marked on one of the pictures where our camper is in relation to where we are.

Well, that's it for now. Tomorrow we leave here and travel to Savannah, GA. It's a 4-5 hour trip so we will be up early in order to play "tourist" when we arrive.
